As a requirement of Local Law 196 of 2017, the New York City Department of Buildings (NYC DOB) has specific regulations regarding safety on the job site for people working in New York City. Workers at job sites requiring a Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator, or Site Safety Manager must have a total of 40 hours of safety training.

February 1, 2023 Deadline for Updated SST ID Cards Approaches - The new one-card NYCDOB Training Connect card will be the only SST identification card DOB will accept as valid proof of worker site safety training beginning February 1, 2023. The new NYCDOB Training Connect SST ID card will replace all previously issued SST ID cards.

10 HOURS SST WORKER PACKAGE
Local law 196 requires workers and supervisor to receive safety training at construction sites that are required to designate a construction superintendent, site safety coordinator or site safety manager. By MARCH 1, 2021 all workers will need total of 40 Hour of training to qualify for the Site Safety Training (SST) card. Supervisors must have a total of 62 hours of training by June 1, 2019 to obtain a Supervisor SST training card. Our goal is to empower people through the expansion of knowledge. This course is a great way to begin or continue that journey. We often find that those who enroll for our programs are unaware of their own capacities, and through this course and our many others, we intend to change that. 4 HOUR SUPPORTED SCAFFOLD USER / REFRESHER
The 4 Hour User Supported Scaffold Training is a NYC Department of Buildings approved course. The course is for any individual who uses supported scaffold of any height. All workers must complete a training program of minimum 4 hours (per local law 52) and upon successfull completion will be issued a supported scaffold user certificate. This is required to perform any work on a supported scaffold.
Certificate is valid for 4 years.
Upon successful completion students will receive a certificate AND Card.

Building Regulations
Ladder Safety, Body Harness, and erecting and loading scaffolds, etc.
